6.5 Software Interrupts

Interrupts can be generated via software with S1C17 core int

imm5

or intl

imm5

and

imm3

commands. The vector

table vector number (0 to 31) is specified by the operand immediate

imm5

. With the intl command,

imm3

can be

used to specify an interrupt level (0 to 7) for the PSR IL fields.
Details of the processor interrupt processing are the same as for when an interrupt generated by hardware occurs.
