Registrazione gioco
cuscinetti dello sterzo
Riscontrando eccessiva libertà di
movimento del manubrio o
scuotimento della forcella rispetto
all’asse di sterzo è necessario
procedere alla regolazione del
gioco dei cuscinetti dello sterzo nel
modo seguente:
Allentare le quattro viti (1), rimuovere
i due cavallotti (2) e rimuovere il
manubrio.
Allentare le viti (3) sulla testa di
sterzo in corrispondenza dei
morsetti di tenuta steli forcella.
Allentare la vite (4) del morsetto di
tenuta cannotto sulla testa di sterzo.
Ruotare con l’apposito attrezzo
cod.
88713.1058 la ghiera (5) di
registrazione fino alla coppia
prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Serrare tutte le viti allentate in
precedenza alla coppia di serraggio
prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Riposizionare il manubrio, montare
i due cavallotti (2) e serrare le
quattro viti (1) fissaggio cavallotti
alla coppia prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Adjusting the steering
head bearings
Excessive handlebar play or shaking
forks in the steering head indicate
that the play in the steering head
bearings requires adjustment.
Proceed as follows:
Loosen the four bolts (1), remove
the two clamps (2) and remove the
handlebar.
Slacken the clamp bolts (3) securing
the top yoke to both fork legs.
Loosen the clamp bolt (4) that holds
the steering tube to the top yoke;
Using special tool part no.
88713.1058
turn the adjuster nut (5) to the
specified torque (Sect. C 3).
Tighten all previously loosened bolts
to the specified torque (Sect. C 3).
Reposition the handlebar, fit the
two clamps (2) and tighten the
clamp bolts (1) to the specified
torque (Sect. C 3).
