SEGNALAZIONE
Controllo componenti
dispositivi di
segnalazione
In caso di anomalia di funzionamento
è necessario verificare, in tutte le
condizioni di utilizzo, i collegamenti
interni del dispositivo. Per poter
fare ciò è necessario scollegare il
connettore del commutatore dal
cablaggio principale (Sez. P 1).
Si passa quindi all'analisi del
commutatore utilizzando un
MULTIMETRO analogico o
digitale (Sez. P 9).
Note
La medesima verifica può
essere eseguita con lo strumento di
diagnosi “DDS” (Sez. D 5).
Controllo commutatore
manopola sinistra
Per rimuovere il commutatore
sinistro svitare le viti (1) e scollegarlo
dall'impianto elettrico aprendo la
relativa connessione.
I colori citati nelle seguenti descrizioni
si riferiscono ai fili elettrici che escono
dal commutatore e non ai colori dei
fili dell'impianto elettrico principale.
Pulsante HORN (Clacson)
Collegare i terminali di un multimetro
sui cavi elettrici di colore (Nero/Bianco
e Nero/Giallo) per verificare la
continuità elettrica che deve essere
presente quando il pulsante HORN
viene premuto (vedi Sez. P 9, relativa
al funzionamento del multimetro). Se il
pulsante HORN è premuto la
resistenza indicata dallo strumento
deve essere prossima allo zero e, se
presente, deve essere emesso il
segnale sonoro di continuità. Se il
pulsante HORN non è premuto la
resistenza indicata deve essere infinita
(non c'è continuità poiché i contatti
elettrici all'interno del pulsante,
sono aperti) e, se presente, non deve
essere emesso il segnale sonoro di
continuità. Se queste condizioni non
sono verificate sostituire l'elemento.
5 - SIGNALLING DEVICES

In the event of a fault, the internal
connections of the device must be
checked in all operating conditions.
To do this, disconnect the switch
connector from main wiring
harness (Sect. P 1).
Test the device using either an
analogical or digital multimeter
(Sect. P 9).
Notes
The same check can be
performed using the “DDS”
tester (Sect. D 5).
Left-hand selector switch
check
To remove the left-hand selector
switch, undo the fixing screws (1)
and disconnect it from the electrical
system.
The colours mentioned in the following
descriptions refer to the colour of wires
from the switch and not to the colour
of wires of the main electric system.
HORN button
Connect the terminals of a
multimeter to the (Black/White and
Black/Yellow) wires to check for
electrical continuity which must be
present when the HORN button is
pressed (see Sect. P 9, concerning
operation of the multimeter). When
the HORN button is pressed, the
resistance value shown by the
multimeter should be close to zero
and, if available, a continuity beep
should be heard. When the HORN
button is not pressed, the resistance
value should be infinite (no continuity
is available as the electrical contacts
inside the pushbutton are open) and
no continuity beep should be heard.
If these conditions are not met,
the device must be replaced.
