Smontaggio pinza freno
posteriore
Importante
La casa costruttrice delle pinza
freno, considerando l'importanza in
termini di sicurezza che rivestono
questi componenti, suggerisce di non
intervenire in nessun modo all'interno
della pinza o della pompa. Una
revisione non eseguita correttamente
può mettere in serio pericolo
l'incolumità del pilota e del passeggero.
Prima di procedere alla rimozione dei
componenti in questione occorre
rimuovere dal motoveicolo i
particolari riportati di seguito:
Svitare e rimuovere la vite speciale (13)
di fissaggio della tubazione (A) alla
pinza freno posteriore e le relative
guarnizioni (12).
Rimuovere la tubazione (A).
Svitare le due viti (8) di fissaggio
pinza freno posteriore (11), alla
piastra portapinza facendo
attenzione alle rondelle (9) e (
10 ) e
rimuovere la pinza freno (11).
Qualora fosse necessario rimuovere
la piastra portapinza (B) fare
riferimento alla Sez. G 5.
Note
Per le operazioni di sostituzione
delle pastiglie freno seguire quanto
riportato al paragrafo “Controllo
usura e sostituzioni pastiglie
freno” (Sez. D 4).
Per rimuovere il sensore velocità (6)
svitare la vite (7) di fissaggio facendo
attenzione ai distanziali (5).
Le operazioni di sostituzione sono
limitate a:
Pinza: Pastiglie, componenti di
fissaggio e gruppo di spurgo.
Pompa: pedale di comando, gruppo
di spurgo, serbatoio e componenti
(Sez. F 4).
Per la sostituzione dei componenti
sopra indicati fare riferimento a
quanto mostrato nell’esploso a
inizio capitolo.

Removing the rear brake
caliper
Important
Critical safety components.
The brake manufacturer advises
against any servicing of the internal
components of calipers or the
master cylinder. Incorrect overhaul of
this critical safety component can
endanger rider and passenger safety.
Before removing the parts in
question, you must first remove
the following parts:
Unscrew and remove the banjo
bolt (13) securing the hose (A) to
the rear brake caliper and recover
the sealing washers (12).
Remove the hose (A).
Unscrew the two bolts (8) securing
the rear brake caliper (11) to the
caliper mounting bracket, taking care
to recover the washers (9) and (
10 ),
and remove the caliper (11).
If it is necessary to remove the
caliper mounting bracket (B), refer
to Section G 5.
Notes
See “Checking brake pad
wear and changing brake pads” in
Section D 4 for instructions on how
to change the brake pads.
To remove the speed sensor (6),
unscrew the bolt (7) securing it to
the caliper mounting plate, taking
care to recover the spacers (5).
Only the following parts should be
renewed:
Caliper: Pads, fasteners and bleed
valve assembly.
Master cylinder: control pedal,
bleed valve assembly, reservoir
and its parts (Sect. F 4).
Refer to the exploded view at the
beginning of this section for indications
on renewal of the above components.
