Configuring the Cisco uBR7200 Series Using the Setup Facility
When the router determines that AutoInstall is not configured, it defaults to the Setup facility. If the LAN or
WAN cable is not connected, the router boots from Flash memory and automatically runs the Setup facility.
Note
You can run the Setup facility when the enable prompt (
#
) is displayed, by entering the
setup
command
in privileged EXEC mode.
Configuring Global Parameters with the Setup Facility
When you first start the program, configure the global parameters to control system-wide settings:
Step 1
Connect a console terminal to the console port on the I/O controller, and then boot the router.
Step 2
After booting from Flash memory, the following information appears after about 30 seconds. When you
see this information, you have successfully booted your router:
