Chapter 27 Working with System Software Images
Downloading the System Software Images Using rcp
The switch downloads the image file, erases the flash memory on the appropriate modules, and
reprograms the flash memory with the downloaded flash code.
Note
All the modules in the switch remain operational while the image downloads.
Step 4
Reset the appropriate modules using the
reset
mod
command. If you are connected through Telnet, your
Telnet session disconnects if you reset the module through which your connection was made.
Step 5
When the upgraded modules come online, enter the
show version
[
mod
] command to check the version
of the code on the switch.
