Field
Description
Cable slot/port is
up/...administratively down
Indicates whether the interface hardware is currently active or
taken down by the administrator.
line protocol is
up/...administratively down
Indicates whether the software processes that handle the line
protocol believe the interface is usable or if it has been taken down
by the administrator.
hardware
Hardware type and address.
Internet address
Internet address followed by subnet mask.
MTU
Maximum transmission unit (MTU) of the interface.
BW
Bandwidth of the interface in kilobits per second.
DLY
Delay of the interface in microseconds.
