Supported Platforms and Cisco IOS Releases
This chapter identifies the supported platforms and Cisco IOS Releases for the CMTS and cable CPE
technologies. The Cable CMTS commands operate on the Cisco uBR7100 series routers,
Cisco uBR7200 series routers, and Cisco uBR10012 Cable Modem Termination Systems (CMTS)
universal broadband routers. As of the date of this manual’s publication, this guide lists the commands
that are found in the Cisco IOS releases shown in
Table 1-1 :

The 12.2 BC train is the Cisco cable-specific early
deployment release train that provides DOCSIS 1.1 and
other new feature support.
Cisco IOS Release 12.2(15)CX Cisco uBR7246VXR router Release 12.2(15)CX introduces support for the
Cisco uBR-MC28U/X cable interface line card and
DOCSIS 2.0 A-TDMA operations. It has been
superseded by Release 12.2(15)BC2.
