Section 7: Preventative Maintenance

Pin Holders

A. Apply one drop of oil to each end of the pin detector plate’s pivot.

B. Apply one drop of oil to the switch finger.

C. Apply light film of grease on both gripper drive teeth.

D. Apply one drop of oil to pin gripper pivot point.

NOTE:

Never apply any type of lubricant to the solenoid or its plunger. When a plunger

becomes dirty or sticky, it must be cleaned with electrical contact cleaner and them dried to

leave no residue.
