Installation and preparation

4-5. Moving the printer

<IMPORTANT>



When you want to move the printer, perform [Printer transport preparation] before doing so. Otherwise, the print head may
fail to eject ink-jet droplets due to the vibration during transport.

(1)

While the printer is in standby mode, press the

on the operation panel to bring the menu screen into the view.

(2)

From the menu, select [Maintenance] > [Printer transport preparation], and press

.

(3)

Check the remaining ink in the ink pouch and press

.

(4)

Once the transport preparation is complete, turn off the power.

(5)

Remove the power plug from the outlet and move the printer.
