a = M returns last command 

 

 

a = P queries the PRT setting – returns the current channel (n) (see P command) 

 

 

a = R queries the resolution - return setting 0 or 1         (see R command for 
parameters) 
a = U queries the units - return setting 0, 1, 2 or 3         (see U command for 
parameters) 
a = Z queries the zero function -  (0 = no zero set, 1 = zero set) 
a = _ queries all settings - returns r all settings. (26 charCR+LF 
normally, 27 charCR+LF in high res. with units set to Ohms).

Syntax:  

Rn, where n = 0, 1, 2 or 3 

Parameters: 

n = 0 selects 2 decimal places (3 decimal places for ohms) 
n = 1 selects 3 decimal places (4 decimal places for ohms) 

 

 

n = 2 selects 1 decimal places (2 decimal places for ohms) 

 

 

n = 3 selects 0 decimal places (1 decimal places for ohms) 

 

 

n = 4 selects 0 decimal places for ohms

4 characters must be sent to form a valid command, for example SA02, SB13,
