ASL operating instructions, model CTR5000

There are two fields that need more explanation – 

1

 

Serial no… 

The Smart probe serial number is normally 19 characters long. However, due to space limitation on 
the LCD, the CTR5000 can only display 10 characters. Although only numerical values can be 
entered from the editor, alpha-numeric characters can be displayed and overwritten. The data 
comms 

N 

command can be used to enter any arbitrary string.

Source…

Reset defaults menu 

Use this menu to reset all the Smart probe data fields to their default values for the CTR5000. Select 
the menu and respond to the  

Reset defaults?

 message. 

 

Note 

All data will be lost when the defaults are set - take care when 

using this menu option.
