Working from both sides, use the ad-

justment register screw (29) to bring

the chain to the correct tension and

tighten the locking nuts (30).

Check that the vertical deflection of the

bottom section of the chain, measured

at a distance of 320 mm (12.59 in) from

the centre of the rear wheel axle (along

imaginary line between centres of front

and rear sprockets), is approximately

48 mm (1.88 in).

•

Check that the distance set is the same

on both sides.
