12.9.4 Checking / replacing the TwinTeC baffle lip
Adhere to the inspection intervals,
see section "Maintenance schedule", page 234.
Checking the baffle lip
Check the baffle lip (Fig. 332/1) for wear.
Replace worn baffle lips.
Replacing the baffle lip
1. Dismount the seed line, see section
"Dismounting the TwinTeC seed line",
page 237.
2. Loosen the hex. nut (Fig. 332/2), remove
the socket (Fig. 332/3) and replace the
baffle lip (Fig. 332/1).

Checking the press roller
Check the press rollers (Fig. 333/1) for wear.
Replace worn press rollers.
Replacing the press roller
1. Loosen the hex. nut (Fig. 333/2).
2. Replace the press roller
Do not replace the undamaged axle. The
axles fit for all press rollers.
3. Tighten the hex. nut (100 Nm).
