Setting the roller contact pressure

1. Adjust the roller contact pressure with the

central spanner (Fig. 231), see
section 5.19, page 100.

2. Check the seed placement depth after each

adjustment, see section 8.6.1, page 161.

To prevent damage to the roller
harrow, the roller contact pressure
"F" must not exceed the table value.

Lifting the roller harrow off of the ground

A scale (Fig. 233/1) underneath the control centre
indicates the set roller pressure of the roller
harrow in percent.

The roller harrow is lifted off of the ground when
the central spanner is turned counter-clockwise
(-) and the pointer exceeds the 0%-mark.

As soon as the roller harrow has been raised, the
indicator points to the symbol (Fig. 233/2), see
also section 5.19,
