The central spanner (Fig. 109) is used to
adjust the roller contact pressure.

Fig. 109

The carrying arms of the roller harrow are
spring suspended on a rotating tube. As a
result, the rollers can follow the contours of the
ground.

The roller contact pressure is adapted to the
ground by rotating the tube.

Turning the central spanner



If the roller harrow is not being used, it can be
raised.

The roller harrow is lifted when the central
spanner is turned counter-clockwise (-) and the
pointer has underranged the 0% mark. As soon
as the roller harrow is lifted, the pointer points to
the symbol (Fig. 111/2).
