Guidelines and manufacturer’s declaration concerning
electromagnetic compatibility
The device is subject to specific precautions with regard to electromagnetic
compatibility (EMC) in Professional Healthcare Facility Environments. In order
to avoid the occurrence of EMC interference, the device may only be installed,
operated and maintained in the manner indicated in these Instructions for
Use, and only using components supplied by ZEISS.
WARNING Functional deterioration!
Do not install or operate the OPMI Lumera i in close proximity to other devices
(with the exception of the combination of the devices described in these
Instructions for Use), as this can impair the functioning of the OPMI Lumera i.
• If it cannot be avoided that the OPMI Lumera i is operated in proximity
to other devices, the proper function of the OPMI Lumera i must be
monitored.
WARNING Functional deterioration!
Electrical devices can influence each other as a result of their electromagnetic
radiation. The use of non-approved components can cause increased
emissions or reduce the immunity of the OPMI Lumera i.
• Only use accessories, transformers, cables and spare parts which are
specified in these Instructions for Use or which are approved by ZEISS for
the OPMI Lumera i.
