Adjusting video mode
You can configure the video modes to meet your specific requirements
regarding the exposure mode (brightness) and image orientation. In addition,
you can perform a white balance procedure which compensates for the
effects of different light sources on the color rendition of the camera.
• Press the <Video> button in the main menu.

The “Video” menu is displayed.
• Press the button of the video mode to be edited:
– <Anterior>
– <Posterior>
– <User Specific>
• Press the <Edit> button.

The submenu of the selected video mode is displayed.
Selecting the exposure mode
You can set the exposure mode in the “Brightness” field.
Manual exposure • Press the <Manual Brightness> button.

Manual exposure control is active when the “Manual Brightness” button
lights up dark blue.

The button under “Spot Size” is grayed out.
• Move the slider to the desired exposure value. You can adjust the brightness
of the video image continuously between 0% and 100%. A light value in the
range between 50% and 70% usually provides optimum exposure results.
Automatic exposure • Press the <Manual Brightness> button.

Automatic exposure control is active when the “Manual Brightness”
button lights up light blue.
• Select the metering method to be used in the “Spot Size” field.
