Important:
Do not make changes to the print server information. Changes to these settings
causes the
PredictPrint Media Manager
to stop communicating with the press.
To access the
System
settings, log in as an administrator. From the
System
tab, the user can do the
following:
• View specific print server information including:
–
IP Address/Host Name
–
Community Name
–
Port Number
• Make changes to the following settings:
–
Automatic Administrator Logoff
: When this feature is enabled, after a set period of
inactivity, the system logs the user out of Administrator mode automatically. When the user is
logged out of Administrator mode, the PredictPrint Media Manager returns to Operator mode.
–
Tray Stock Properties Window Timeout
: Use this setting to specify whether the tray
properties window closes automatically if no changes are made to it.
–
Restrict Operator Stock Library Access
: By default, the Stock Library feature is displayed
on the PredictPrint Media Manager main screen. With this setting, the Administrator can
restrict the Operator from accessing the Stock Library feature. If the Stock Library feature is
restricted, it is available to the Administrator only.

Change Password
: Use this setting to change the administrator password.
–
Default Language
: Use this setting to view and change the default language.
–
Date Format
: Use this setting to view and change the date format.
–
Time Format
: Use this setting to view and change the time format.
Accessing the System Tab
1. From the main window of the PredictPrint Media Manager application, log in as administrator.

.
The
System
screen appears.
3. To exit
System
settings and return to the PredictPrint Media Manager main window, select either
Apply
or
Cancel
.
4. To exit the administrator mode, click
User: Administrator
, then click
Log Out
.
Enabling Automatic Administrator Logoff
1. From the PredictPrint Media Manager screen, click
Login
, then log in as the Administrator.
2. Click
Administration
.
3. From the
Administration
screen, select the
System
tab.
4. To enable
Automatic Administrator Logoff
, click the
On/Off
toggle button.
The toggle button changes color, and a label indicates whether the Automatic Administrator
Logoff feature is On or Off.
