5. Using the Scan Service

Exit the System Administrator Mode (Chapter 1 Exiting the
System Administrator Mode on page 1-16).

After the machine is restarted, print out the Printer Settings
List to confirm that either the SMB port or FTP client port is

enabled and the IP addresses are configured.

Configuration on the computer

This section describes the configuration procedure for the

computer.

Using with FTP

Create a destination directory/folder for your files. this

directory/folder should be created on the FPT server where you

logged in.

Using with SMB

Create a folder on the computer and configure it as a shared

folder.
