Accessing Queue Server to configure printer to server
communications
The Queue Server links Novell NetWare queues with DocuSP
queues for printing through a Novell Server. It provides a
“watched” queue from which DocuSP pulls jobs. Before a Queue
Server is set up, the NetWare Gateway must be installed and
configured on the controller.
The System Administrator needs to configure the Queue Server
component for either an NDS connection or a Bindery connection.
Two Queue Server operational modes are supported: Production
and Office. The operational mode affects how the system
determines Netware print queue servicing and which DocuSP
queue the print jobs are placed in and processed when retrieved
from Netware.
To access queue server:
1. Logon to the DocuSP Controller as a System Administrator.
2. From the Setup menu, select [Gateways...].
3. Select the Queue Server tab.
4. In the upper left corner of the Queue Server window, note the
displayed Mode. For the Office system (Multi-Function Printer)
the Mode should be displayed as Office. For the Production
system the Mode should be displayed as Production.
