Partition: The system unloads the stacker when
partitioning is enabled for long jobs and a partition of
the job has completed printing.

Job/Partition: Instructs the system to unload the
stacker after the job has completed or after a set
partition, whichever comes first.

d. Select [OK] to exit the dialog and save your change.
4. To set mixed finishing and, if supported, bin limits, right-click a
stacker and select [Stacking Mode & Limits...].

Stacking Mode:
–
Normal: This is the default setting that does not permit
mixed finishing.
–
Mixed Finishing Allowed: Select if the job you are
printing requires mixed stock.
•
Stacking Limits: Defines the maximum number of sheets
each stacker can contain. Type a number in the field or use
the spin box. The range of sheets permitted in the stacker
is presented below the Stacking Limits field.
5. Setting stacker bin limits:
a. Right-click a stacker and select [Stacker Limits...].
b. If more than one stacker is present, select the appropriate
stacker name, such as: Stacker A, or Stacker B.
c. Enter a bin limit for each stacker. The available range is
located below the spin box.
d. Select [OK], or select [Reset] to return settings to default
values.
6. Unloading the stacker: Using the unload stacker option allows
you to unload the printer stacker to remove the completed
output prior to the stacker delivering the output when it is full.
This option allows you to check the output for completeness,
and to validate that the finishing and printing is correct during
the print process.
a. From the Printer menu, choose [Unload Stacker...]. The
stacker tray automatically opens at the end of the current
print set.
b. Remove any prints from the stacker. The printer will
resume printing once the prints have been removed and
the stacker is completely closed.
