1. Select the Image Quality tab.
2. Choose the Resolution/Halftone FAB.
3. Select the resolution by marking the appropriate radio button.
4. From the Halftone pull-down menu, select the desired setting
according to your system. For most jobs, you will want to
accept the default, System Specified setting.
5. Select (OK) or continue setting job properties. Your selection
will appear on the Resolution/Halftone FAB.
Image Shift FAB
To use the Image Shift FAB:
1. Select the Image Shift FAB. Ensure that the Summary field
displays 1 Sided printing. To change the Sides Imaged,
change the setting on the Output tab.
2. From the Shift Options pull-down menu, select from [Manual]
or [Auto-Center].
• Manual allows you to adjust image shift using the X and Y
axis fields.
• Auto-Center automatically centers the image.
3. Select the desired unit of measure (mm, inches, dpi).
4. Using the X and Y axis fields, enter a shift value by using the
spin box or by typing in a number.
• When selecting the horizontal (X) image shift, enter a
positive number to move the printed image away from the
left side of the paper. Enter a negative number to move the
printed image away from the right side of the paper.
• When selecting the vertical (Y) image shift, enter a positive
number to move the printed image upward or a negative
number to move the printed image down.
• Use the Center option to bring both the X and Y values
back to zero (no shift).
5. Click [OK] or continue setting job properties. Your selection will
display on the Image Shift FAB.
Shifting the image on a two-sided job:
To shift the image on a two-sided job:
1. Open Job Manager.
2. Double-click a job in the Active or Inactive Jobs list.
3. Select the Image Edit tab.
4. Ensure that the Summary field displays 2 Sided printing. To
change the Sides Imaged, change the setting on the Output
tab.
