VPC Filter limits, constraints and considerations
•
The VPC Filter is not supported on single queue systems.
•
The VPC Filter cannot be setup on a streaming queue.
•
The General Filter Mechanism (GFM) does not provide a
method for stringing filters together and therefore, only one
filter can be applied to a queue.
•
The DocuSP Job Forwarding feature is not supported.
•
The VPC Filter is not supported in the DocuSP Remote
Workflow (DRW).
•
All production type files contained in a VPC file are printed
when a VPC file is submitted to a VPC filter-enabled queue.
•
A sample type file in a VPC file is only printed if there are no
production files contained in the VPC file.
•
VPC files containing production jobs that use the VIPP
Demographics or Normalization features are not supported.
NOTE: The VPC Filter reports error codes (defined by GFM or the
filter) back to the GFM. Unexpected errors may be logged in either
/opt/XRXnps/log/GFM.Debug.Log or /opt/XRXnps/log/
vpcf.debug.log.
