Clearing Paper Jams from Trays 3 and 4 

To resolve the error that appears on the control panel, follow the instructions provided and remove all 

paper from the Tray 3 and Tray 4 areas. 
1.

 

Open the left side door of the printer. Remove any jammed paper from the left side door areas. 

 

2.

 

Close the left side door, then wait 10 seconds. Any paper currently in transport inside the printer 

moves to the left side area. 

3.

 

Open the left side door. Remove any jammed paper from the left side door areas. 

4.

 

Pull out the tray until it stops. 

Note: 

If you are unable to open Tray 4 completely, paper may be jammed behind the tray.

Close Tray 4. 

b.

 

To access the area behind Tray 4, remove Tray 2. 

c.

 

Remove any damaged paper from behind Tray 4. 

d.

 

Replace Tray 2. 

e.

 

Open Tray 4. 

5.

 

Remove any paper from Tray 3 or 4. 

 

6.

 

Reload the tray with undamaged paper, then push the tray in until it stops. 

7.

 

To return to the Home screen, press the 

Home

 button. 

8.

 

Close the left side door.
