Cleaning the Printer Interior

Cleaning the Printhead

The LED printhead requires regular cleaning to maintain print quality. Clean the printhead every time

that you replace the toner cartridge or if print quality starts to degrade.

WARNING:

Do not perform this procedure when the printer is copying or printing.

Open the front door of the printer.

Rotate the orange print cartridge locking lever counterclockwise until it clicks. The lever is to the

right of the print cartridge unit.
