Adjust the caliper to provide a sliding fit for a single flat case:
Loosen the two orange quick-adjust handles on the calipers.
Move the caliper as appropriate to achieve the desired setting.
Retighten the handles.
Adjust the jawplates so that the gap between them, when fully
CLOSED, is

1 (1 mm) more than the thickness of the flat case:
Loosen the four socket-head capscrews which hold the minor
jawplate mounting bracket.
Move the jawplate the desired amount.
Retighten the securing screws while maintaining the jawplate’s
vertical alignment.
Close guard doors; switch
ON
air and electrical power.
From the
‘Main Control’
screen, press the
‘JOG CONTROL’
button.
Press the
‘MACHINE CYCLE JOG’
button once to close the
jaws.
Change the position of the ‘jaws closed’ shock absorber to
ensure that the major jawplate is parallel to the minor jawplate.
Check the setting by ensuring that the jawplates do not spring
apart noticeably as a case is injected into them.
Turn the machine
