To remove the accumulator head:
1. Flush the ISM with nonhazardous solvent.
2. In the Instrument console, select Isocratic Solvent Manager from the
system tree.
3. In the Isocratic Solvent Manager information window, click Maintain >
Heads.
4. In the Head Maintenance dialog box, select the accumulator head.
5. Click Move Backward, and then wait for the plunger to stop.
6. Power-off the ISM.
7. Move the solvent bottles to a location below the ISM.
Caution:
To avoid damaging electrical parts, never disconnect an
electrical assembly while power is applied to an instrument or
device. To completely interrupt power, set the power switch to Off,
and then unplug the power cord from the AC source. Wait 10
seconds thereafter before you disconnect an assembly.
Warning:
To avoid injuries arising from contact with spilled
solvent (siphoning), move the solvent bottles to a location below
the ISM.
