
Replacing the accumulator check valve

3. While holding the check valve in place with the 5/16-inch, open-end
wrench, use the 1/4-inch, open-end wrench to disconnect the
compression fitting.
4. Use the 1/2-inch, open-end wrench to loosen the check valve, and then
remove the check valve assembly from the head.
5. Unpack the new check valve.
Caution:
When you remove the valve assembly, ensure the PEEK
washer, which is normally on the top face of the check valve, does
not remain in the head (see the figure after
).
