1. Turn the unit ON by pressing the ON
push-button, follow step by step the Start
up sequence and check it is performing
properly (refer to the chapter “Service
information”).
2. At the end of the Start up the writing
“READY” will be shown on the display.

1. Open fully the collimator shutters.
2. By pressing the COLLIMATOR pushbutton
on the keyboard, turn the collimator lamp
ON, check the lamp lights up properly
and check that it stays ON for about 30
seconds.

1. Check the functioning of the kV and mAs
increase/decrease push-buttons.
2. Perform a X-ray preparation (press only
the first step of the handswitch for at least
3s) and check that the anode is in
rotation.
3. When the handswitch is released, check
that the anode is braked.
