After placing the cassette and the patient,
proceed in the following way:
1. lock the "parking brake" of the unit;
2. connect the Potter Bucky grid or the table
for the examination to the connector
CM1;
3. press the push-button for the “Potter Bucky
selection”, if the external unit is connected
properly and it is ON, the led of the push-
button turns ON;
4. at this point, the consent for the x-ray
emission is given by the external unit. It is
necessary to press and hold down fully the
x-ray handswitch till the exposure has
been performed.
The malfunction of the external unit is
signalled on the display by the error
message “EXT XR ORDER”. The most
common fault is linked to the non-consent
for the emission by the external unit. In
this case it is necessary to check the
connections
Dopo aver posizionato cassetta e paziente
procedere come segue:
1. bloccare il "freno di stazionamento"
dell'unità;
2. connettere la griglia del Potter Bucky o il
tavolo per l’esame al connettore CM1;
3. premere il pulsante per la “selezione
Potter Bucky”, se l’unità esterna è collegata
correttamente ed è accesa il led relativo al
pulsante si accende;
4. a questo punto il consenso all’emissione
raggi viene dato dall’unità esterna. E’
necessario premere e tenere premuto a
fondo il pulsante raggi fino ad esposizione
avvenuta.
Il malfunzionamento dell’unità esterna
viene segnalata sul display dal messaggio
d’errore “EXT XR ORDER”. Il guasto più
frequente è legato al non consenso
all’emissione da parte dell’unità esterna. In
questo caso è necessario controllare le
connessioni.
