Step 3. Check for proper installation of actuator cable ( Figure 3-2 ).

Step 4. Check for loose or damaged iris leaves. Replace color bulkhead
as necessary.
Step 5. If symptom still persists, replace LCB. Refer to “Lamp Control
PCB Replacement” on page 114 .

If dimmer is not operating properly:
Step 1. Remove dimmer bulkhead. Refer to “Dimmer Bulkhead
Replacement” on page 75 .
Step 2. Check condition of dimmer blade. Ensure that blade is not bent
or obstructed. Replace as necessary. Refer to “Dimmer Blade
Replacement” on page 76 .
Step 3. If symptom persists, replace optical switch. Refer to “Dimmer
Optical Switch Replacement” on page 78 .
Step 4. If symptom persists, replace dimmer stepper motor. Refer to
“Dimmer Stepper Motor Replacement” on page 80 .
Step 5. If symptom still persists, replace LCB. Refer to “Lamp Control
PCB Replacement” on page 114 .
