Step 4. Disconnect input cable wiring.
a. At tilt-side yoke leg, at terminal strip, disconnect lamp power
bundles (from input cable side). Slide wires back through
yoke leg.
b. At ground stud, using 5/16 inch nutdriver, remove two 6-32
Keps nuts that secure ground cable ring terminals and remove
ring terminals. Slide input cable ground wire back through
yoke leg.
Step 5. At LCB, disconnect two 2-pin MTA connectors at P11A (power)
and one 4-pin MTA connector at P10 (comm). Slide wires back
through yoke leg.
Step 6. Push all input cable wires up into pan tube.
Step 7. Disconnect pan mechanism (
).
a. Disconnect 5-pin MTA connector from pan mechanism
encoder and 2-pin MTA connector from pan motor wires. Cut
cable tie securing wires to mechanism.
b. Using 5/32 inch Allen wrench, remove 10-32x1" SCSS belt
adjustment screw and #10 flat washer.
c. Remove three 6-32x5/16" PPZ screws and #6 flat washers
that secure pan mechanism to yoke and push mechanism
toward pan tube.
