If luminaire will not tilt:
Step 1. At luminaire, remove tilt-side yoke leg cover. At tilt mechanism,
check connection of tilt cable. Ensure good connection.
Step 2. Remove board-side yoke leg cover. At LCB, check connection of
tilt cable. Ensure good connection. Using meter, check continu-
ity. If cable is bad, then replace. Refer to
.
Step 3. If cable is good, then replace tilt mechanism. Refer to
Mechanism Replacement” on page 101
.
Step 4. If symptom still persists, replace LCB. Refer to

Note: This symptom is usually noticeable during a slow tilt.
If luminaire’s tilt motion is jerky or dragging:
Step 1. At luminaire, remove tilt-side yoke leg cover.
Step 2. Check pulley belt for proper tension. Refer to
Tension Adjustment” on page 124
Step 3. At tilt driven pulley, check for loose or broken pulley. Tighten or
replace as needed. Refer to
“Tilt Driven Pulley Replacement” on

If luminaire will not pan:
Step 1. At luminaire, remove board-side yoke leg cover. At pan mecha-
nism, check connection of pan cable. Ensure good connection.
Step 2. At LCB, check connection of pan cable. Ensure good connection.
Using meter, check continuity. If cable is bad, then replace.
