Screwdriver, Phillips #2
Nutdriver, 1/4 inch
Pliers, needle nose
Pliers, snap ring (if removing wide field lens)
Versilube (06.6027.0001)
Drill with 3/16 inch drill bit (if needed)
White cotton gloves or finger cots
To install medium field lens (and counterweight):
Step 1. Remove current lens assembly. Refer to “Lens Assembly
Replacement” on page 92 .
Step 2. Apply Versilube to guide shafts if needed.
Step 3. Slide medium field lens assembly onto lens barrel shafts.
Note: The medium field lens barrel is manufactured from metal rather
than plastic and is heavier than the narrow field lens. When replacing a
narrow field lens with a medium field, a counterweight will need to be
installed to maintain luminaire balance.
Step 4. If necessary, install counterweight ( Figure 2-1 ):
a. At luminaire back cap, remove 1/4-28 captive screw securing
lamp assembly to head assembly. Carefully slide out lamp
assembly.
b. Using screwdriver, disconnect tether.
