Step 6. Using a clean lent-free cloth, remove any debris inside the lens
barrel halves and mating edges.

Step 7. Using a clean lent-free cloth and glass cleaner, clean each lens
thoroughly.
Step 8. At one lens barrel half, apply a thin bead of translucent RTV 108
along two mating edges.
Step 9. At other lens barrel half, install lenses.
Step 10. Carefully place barrel halves together.
Note: Two #4 .250ODx0.125IDx0.015THK flat washers between lens
barrel halves are no longer used.
Step 11. Using screwdriver and 1/4 inch nut driver, secure lens assembly
together using four 4-40x7/16"PPZ screws and 4-40 HEX nuts,
eight #4 SS flat washers.
Step 12. Re-install heatshield sticker.
Step 13. Re-install lens assembly.
