To remove and replace dimmer optical switch:
Step 1. Remove power from luminaire.
Step 2. Remove dimmer bulkhead (
).
Step 3. At dimmer heatshield, remove four 6-32x1/2"PPZ screws and #6
lockwashers that secure heatshield to dimmer bulkhead. Separate
heatshield from bulkhead (
).
Step 4. At optical switch (sensor), remove two 4-40x5/16"PPB screws,
#4 flat washers, and 4-40 KEPS nuts that secure optical switch to
dimmer bulkhead (
).

Step 5. Cut cable tie securing switch wires to other bulkhead wires.
Step 6. Remove red silicone grommet from dimmer bulkhead and
remove optical sensor wires from grommet.
CAUTION: When re-assembling dimmer bulkhead and heatshield, ensure
that thermal switch wires (orange) are routed around standoffs to avoid
interference with dimmer blade during luminaire operation.
Step 7. Replace optical switch by doing Steps 2 thru 6 in reverse.
