Pile-Length:
Input the pile length.
Input the terry motion operating length for the pick.
The screen at left shows an example of 10.0 mm pile
with a gap of 2.0 mm for 3-pick pile.
Take-Stop:
Select take-up or stop.
OFF: No take-up stop (density selection valid)
ON: With take-up stop (density selection invalid)
Speed:
Select the loom speed.
H: High-speed rotation
M: Medium-speed rotation
L: Low-speed rotation
(to be selected mainly for border weaving)
Refer to Chapter E2 2.6 Setting an Inverter for the
desired rpm.
Set the pile length and machine speed so that the
maximum effective load ratio (bL) of servo amplifier
of the electronic terry motion falls within the range of
90 to 95 %. Continuous operation with an effective
load ratio of 100 % or more may damage the servo
motor.
