The files marked by an asterisk (*) are not required. If a function that requires
those files is executed, an error will occur.
2.3.3 Turning ON the Servo Power

CAUTION
•
If the robot performs an abnormal operation when turning on the
servo power, immediately press the emergency stop switch to
turn off the servo power.
•
Be sure to always turn off the servo power when entering into the
robot hazard zone.
(1) Function
Set the main circuit power of the servo driver to “ON”. The servo control axis is
set to servo lock, and if there is a brake, the brake is released.
(2) Procedures
(a) Step 1: Turning ON the servo power
In TEACH mode, hold the enable switch of the teach pendant, and press
the SERVO ON switch. In EXT mode, the external signal (SVON) is set to
ON.
When the main circuit power of the servo driver is set to ON, the SVON
LED on the controller front panel turns on. The SERVO ON LED for the
servo on the teach pendant also turns on.
