4.30  Fluorescent Lamp 

4  Replacement Procedures 

Assembling the 14.1-inch XGA Samsung Fluorescent Lamp 

To assembling the 14.1-inch XGA Samsung fluorescent lamp, follow the steps below and 
refer to figures 4-160 to 4-167. 

 

1.  Place the FL tube on the correct location in the frame. 

2.  Connect the ground wire to the frame. 

3.  Fix the back cover of the FL tube with the two screws. 

4. Attach these: 

•

 Reflective sheet 

•

 Light guide plate (LGP) 

•

 Diffuser sheet 

•

 Prism sheet 

5.  Fasten the two clips. 

6.  Place the panel assembly on the correct location in the backlight assembly. 

7.  Place the upper chassis on the frame. Fit the hooks into the holes. There are four 

hooks at the bottom, four hooks on each of the left- and right-hand sides, and six 
hooks at the top. 

8.  Fix the power supply board with the two screws. 

9.  Attach the PCB cover and three pieces of tape.
