Thermo Scientific

Use the 

Illumination Intensity control

 on the illuminator power supply to adjust the 

brightness.

Controlling Illumination with the Optional Reflected Light Brightfield Illuminator

If your system has the optional reflected light illuminator, the light path is always configured 
for reflected light brightfield illumination. Use the 

View Path control

 to direct light through 

the microscope eyepiece or to the video camera (to produce a video image in the software) or 
both. The View Path control is normally set to the middle position which sends light to both 
locations.

Use the 

Illumination Intensity control

 on the microscope to adjust the brightness.
