PROCEDURE (DISASSEMBLY)
Retain any bolts, nuts (except lock-nuts) spacers, screws and washers (with the exception of lock-
washers) for reassembly.
1. Remove the heat exchanger / muffler assembly (refer to paragraph 5.2.8).
2. Drill out the line of rivets (1) clamping the shroud (2) plate together. Loosen the clamps (3)
clamping the shroud to the muffler and slide the shroud off the muffler.
PROCEDURE (ASSEMBLY)

Reverse the above procedure (removal), paying close attention to the following:
Do not over tighten the clamps.
