Configure the PTP
reference settings
1.
Select the
Settings
icon (
) to open the Settings menu.

Select
Reference
to open the Reference submenu and select the
PTP Settings
submenu. (See
Figure 63
.)

To enable or disable PTP logging to the Event Log, select the control box to
change the setting to the state.

Select the profile to configure:
ST2059
,
AES67
or
General
. The default
communication mode for each profile is Multicast.

I
f you selected the ST2059 profile and the communication mode will be a
mixture of Multicast and Unicast, select
Mixed SMPTE w/o negotiation
.
NOTE.
On the SMPTE profile mixed mode, the PTP Announce and Sync messages
are sent as Multicast. However, the Delay request and Delay Response messages
are sent as Unicast.
