Remote control through API commands
The PRISM monitor has a limited command set for controlling the instrument
using REST-style API commands. You can use GET and POST commands to
configure the signal inputs and to select the active input.
To access the API documentation:
1.
On the PRISM monitor to connect to, open
Settings
, then
Network,
and
find the Control IP Port IP address.
2.
In a web browser, enter the address
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:6080/vnc.html
where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the IP address of the Control IP Port of the
instrument.
NOTE.
If you have set a unique Hostname for the instrument, enter it in the
browser address bar and select the
API Help Page
link.
This opens a PRISM API Documentation web page similar to
Figure 24
.
