p. C H ECK —Repeat step 52-f.

D ISPLAY switch to B D L Y 'D , both SOURCE switches to
NORM, and both V O L T S /D IV switches to 0.1 V.

b. Connect the Low-Frequency Sine-Wave Generator
(General Radio 1310-A) to the CH 1 input via a 42-inch

and DC positions of the A COUPLING switch, by adjusting
the A L E V E L control.
f. C HECK—That a stable display cannot be obtained in
the LF REJ position of the B COUPLING switch.
d. C HECK —That a stable display cannot be obtained in
the LF REJ position of the A COUPLING switch.
g. Set the B SOURCE switch to CH 1.
e. Set the A SOURCE switch to CH 2.
h. CHECK—Repeat step 52-e.
f. C HECK —Repeat step 53-c.
i. C HECK—Repeat step 52-f.
g. C HECK —Repeat step 53-d.
j. Set the B SOURCE switch to CH 2.
h. Set the A SOURCE switch to CH 1.
k. CHECK —That a stable display cannot be obtained in
any position of the B COUPLING switch.
i. C H ECK —That a stable display cannot be obtained in
any position of the A COUPLING switch.
1. Move the test signal from the CH 1 input to the CH 2
input.
j. Move the test signal from the CH 2 input to the CH 1
input.
m. Set the V E R T MODE switch to CH 2.
k. Set the V E R T MODE switch to CH 1.
n. Adjust the Low-Frequency generator for a 0.3
division display of a 60 hertz signal.
