Symantec Storage Shelf hardware removal and replacement
Cables

Connect the other end of this external SAS cable to the SAS IN connector on
rear panel of the NetBackup 5220.
3.
Attach one end of the second 4X to 4X external SAS cable to the SAS IN
connector in I/O module #2 (secondary module) on the rear of the storage shelf.
4.
Connect the other end of the second external SAS cable to the second SAS IN
connector on rear panel of the NetBackup 5220.
Power cable
Use the two power cords shipped with the Symantec Storage Shelf (1.5m (4.9 ft)
power cords (qty 2). One power cord is provided for each of the two power supply
modules in the storage shelf. Both power modules should be used in order to provide
redundant power.
To install an AC power cord:
1.
Obtain both country-specific power cords that shipped with your
storage shelf.
2.
Plug one end of the power cord into the main AC power source in the
equipment room.
3.
Plug the other end of the power cord into one of the AC power
sockets on the rear panel of the storage shelf.
4.
Repeat the previous two steps for the second power cord
