NetBackup 5220 hardware removal and replacement

Remove the RAID card from the PCI Riser Card.

The Battery Backup Unit (BBU) fits onto the top of the RAID card.

Three screw hold the battery to the RAID card.

If you are removing and replacing a battery, remove the screws and the battery.

Install a new battery and secure it with the screws. Do not over-torque or strip
the screws.

If you are install a new battery, place it onto the RAID card and secure it with
the screws. Do not over-torque or strip the screws.

Install the RAID Controller Card into the PCI Riser Assembly.
19.
Install the PCI riser assembly.
20.
Replace the chassis cover and the screw holding it down.
21.
Replace the device into the rack cabinet
22.
Plug the main AC power cable and all peripherals into the rear of the
NetBackup 5220.
23.
Power up the device through the OS.
