Removing the internal air duct
After removing the chassis cover and the PCI Riser Assembly you can see the clear
plastic air duct. It covers the two processors (CPUs) and the two sets of 6 DIMM
slots. The duct helps maintain airflow through the device.
Note: In most cases, you should only need to remove the air duct if you need to
access components located underneath the duct.

Lift up the plastic air duct.
13.
Place the duct on an ESD-preventive, non-scratch surface.
