Cause 2: Power is not supplied
1.
Connect the NetBackup 5220 AC power cables to another external power
source.
2.
Check the status of the power running/alarm indicator.
If the power on/alarm indicator is flashing green, power on the device. If the
system power indicator is on, the fault is removed.
If the power on/alarm indicator is amber, a power module alarm occurs on a
power module.
If the power on/alarm indicator is still off, contact technical support.
3.
If the power is still off, contact technical support.
Memory capacity has decreased
This section describes how to troubleshoot the system when the capacity of the
memory detected in the operating system or while Basic Input/Output System
(BIOS) boot is less than the actual capacity.
Symptom
The memory capacity detected during BIOS booting is less than the actual memory
capacity.
Possible Causes
Cause 1: Not enough DIMMs are installed
Cause 2: One or more DIMMs are faulty
Cause 3: One or more DIMM slots are faulty

A flow chart to help diagnose memory capacity issues is planned for a future release
of this document.
