Add a New Recipient
1.
Select
New Mail Recipient
. The Mail Recipients page changes focus to
display information for the selected mail recipient.

Enter the following information for the mail recipient:

Description
E-mail To
The email address of the recipient. Be sure to use the full address using the
standard email format, including the @ symbol.
Important:
The address cannot contain spaces or other non-alphanumeric
characters (for example, an ampersand, &).
E-mail From
An alphanumeric string to uniquely identify the nTier500. The default name is
the hostname you set in Windows (see
Change the Hostname on page 75
).

SMTP Server
The IP address of your SMTP server. Use the standard IP address format
nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn
.
Send
Select one or more of the listed message types. The nTier500 automatically
sends email messages of the selected types to the recipient when they are
generated. Each message type is associated with an icon, which appears next to
the configured recipient.
